Wee! WWE Blog

I’m pretty exhausted after a long day, so I’ll make it quick by recapping Raw with a series of +’s and -’s, each depicting whether I enjoyed it or did not, respectively.

+ Shelton / Carlito rematch

+ Carlito / Trish

+ No McMahons on TV!

+ Stephanie McMahon giving birth…Congrats!

+ Umaga beating the shit out of HBK

+ Highlanders / Spirit Squad…

+ …which means the tag-team division DOES exist on Raw!

+ Mickie James

+ Mick Foley’s interview…wow

+ My least favorite diva eliminated

+ Fun / interesting / good build for Hogan & Orton at WrestleMania

+ People being “allowed” to insult Hogan’s bald head and old age now!

+ Nitro / Melina being involved in the main event

and finally…

+ + + John Cena’s interview with Maria. I didn’t like Cena until tonight, but that was really hilarious.

Only a few -’s… but they did exist…

- Spirit Squad involving themselves in HBK/Coach match

- Ric Flair

- Ric Flair being made to look so impressive

- Randy Orton made to look like a wuss

Overall…this was absolutely the best Raw in a long time. Somehow, I don’t find it coincidental that the McMahons, and McMahons/DX, were not thrown down our throats, with DX coming out on top over coming insane odds. The funny part is, one dude (Umaga) can take out HBK, but the entire Spirit Squad couldn’t.

Dammit now I think I might like John Cena after that awesome promo. Though I will say he reminded me of The Rock and Stone Cold mixed into one charismatic rip off. Oh well, it was enjoyable.

TOMORROW-

WWE Fan Rally at Ford Field! I’ll be there! I will definately talk about it either tomorrow or Wednesday, and maybe even post pictures of it! You can watch it live on www.wwe.com. But haha, I will watch it live, IN PERSON. :) I’m thrilled, in case you couldn’t tell.

Have a good one!

Interesting fact: Raw was in Clevland, and they mentioned quite a few times that they were next door to where the Clevland Indians were currently playing. Their opponets? The Detroit Tigers! (where many Raw SuperStars will be at Noon tomorrow, along with where SmackDown and ECW are taking place tomorrow evening.) The Tigers won, 9-7, for those who care
